My sweet mom was tragically killed February 27th of 2018.  She was taking a walk with a friend and was hit by a car crossing the street when she was supposed to at a crosswalk.  I turned to painting, among other things as a way of living with and processing my tremendous grief.  Painting her is a way of being with her, feeling close to her, cherishing who she was and still is for me and those who loved her.  Some things are hard to see fully and clearly while someone is still living.  Still wish I could show these to her.
